Ministry of Health and Prevention
For the UAE, I created several web designs and mobile app designs for their Ministry of Health and Prevention. Speaking with their team, I was able to create UI designs for Inspection Apps, Violation Management programs, Staff Rotation, and more for both admins and regular employees.
Working with this ministry was a very insightful experience not just from working on a governmental project, but for ensuring every little detail was successfully communicated with the team and translated into user interface. With intricately written BRD’s followed, this hefty project became my favorite.

Where it all started
This project focused on creating a platform for admins and employees to monitor their hospital and/or clinic inspections, monitor a multitude of reports, and more. The project consists of the following:
Admin Portal
Facility Groups
Staff Rotation
Smart Inspection Apps (Team Lead, Inspector, Admin Module)
Announcement Module
Exam Management
Blacklist Module
Violations Management
My role as the UI/UX designer was to define friction points, create the UI screens, and collaborated with the product owner and manager to ensure seamless user experience.
What I learned
This entire project shaped me into the designer I am today. With the information I had to display using the UAE design system, I ensured that any opportunity I had to better the user experience using the user interface, I took. The last thing I wanted for the user that already had far too many information to view and manage to feel overwhelmed to do so. Practicality, creativity, and innovation where my top priorities and I made sure to reflect that with the PM and developing team I collaborated with.
Additionally, when I started this project, I was a junior and became a Mid-level when it ended and a huge contribution is the project and it’s prototyping. By far, this was the most difficult and rewarding prototyping I’ve ever done and highly encourage you to explore the file to see why.
